Arcade Arena
The Arena where every season rewrites the rules. Browse the teams the community is climbing with this season, and post the one that is winning for you.
How it works
A regular game mode since the October 21 update, where teams compete in different battle configurations under changing Arcade Rules. Seasons change every two weeks, each with its own team setup, battle rules and list of playable Cookies.
-
Seasons and Arcade Rules
- Seasons change every 2 weeks, with different team setups and battle rules.
- Once a season begins, check its Arcade Rules and battle conditions.
- Each season has a certain list of playable Cookies. Non-Seasonal Cookies cannot be used.
- Arcade Arena battles are unavailable during tallying.
-
Ranking
- Rankings are group rankings rather than server-wide: you compete in the Arcade Arena ranking with the players in your group.
- Matchmaking still includes all players on the same server.
-
Battle rules
- Win Streak Bonus: extra trophies from 2 consecutive wins, increasing up to 5. It applies through Diamond 1, not from Master 5, and manually refreshing the battle list removes it.
- Hidden Cookies: from Master 2, opponents' names and profile pictures are randomized, Power and Victory Points are partly hidden, and some Cookies on the opponent's team are hidden, in positions that vary by battle mode.
- Rewatching: rewatch a battle (revenge battles included) from the results screen until you leave it, with pause and restart.
- Practice battles, and fast-forwarding up to Master 3.
-
Tickets and shop
- Entry tickets do not reset when seasons change; owned tickets carry over.
- The Arcade Arena Shop has a Regular Shop and a Tier Shop, both paid in Arcade Arena Coins, which also carry over between seasons.

Battle rules
- Win Streak Bonus: win in the Arcade Arena to obtain additional trophies. The bonus starts at 2 consecutive wins and increases up to 5 consecutive wins. It applies through Diamond 1 and becomes unavailable at Master 5. Manually refreshing the battle list removes the active bonus.
- Hidden Cookies: starting from tier Master 2, opponents' nicknames and profile pictures are randomized. Power displays only the first two digits for millions and hundred-thousands, while Victory Points display only the first three digits. Some Cookies on the opponent's team are hidden; hidden positions vary by battle mode.
- Rewatching Battles: rewatch a battle immediately after attacking an opponent from the results screen; once you exit it, the replay is no longer available. Revenge battles can also be rewatched, and you can pause playback or restart the battle from the beginning.
- Practice: practice Arcade Arena battles.
- Fast-forwarding Battles: available up to Master 3, and the same rule applies when the next season begins.
Entry tickets and shop
- Tickets used in the Arcade Arena do not reset when seasons change, and owned tickets remain available.
- Purchase items in the Arcade Arena Shop with Arcade Arena Coins. The shop is divided into the Regular Shop and the Tier Shop, and Coins carry over between seasons like entry tickets.
About this page
- The mode is permanent, so its teams stay posted from season to season, and there is nothing to pick before you post one. Each season sets its own team size and rules, so say in a team's notes which season it was built for.
- Arcade Arena ran twice as an in-game event before it became a regular mode, with different team sizes and Arcade Rules. The teams posted for those runs are archived on the Arcade Arena event page, which stays up as a record of those seasons.
Mode details are transcribed from the October 21 update notice. Post a team from the Team Builder.
